Boy Scout missing from Traphill, North Carolina
(UPDATE: CNN is reporting that Michael Auberry has been found and that he is in good condition. CNN further states that Michael Auberry wandered away from his campsite because he planned to hitchhike home since he was homesick)12 year old Boy Scout Michael Auberry went missing on March 17th, 2007 from Traphill, North Carolina.

Michael and his fellow Boy Scouts were camping north of Wilkesboro, along the Blue Ridge Parkway near the Virginia state line.If you have any information about this child please contact Wilkes County Sheriff's Office (North Carolina) 1-336-651-7501.

This kid is somewhat of a spoiled brat. (Can you imagine if a rescuer had been hurt while trying to find him?) Yes, I'm glad he was found, but for the boy to disregard his fellow scouts & take-off, he got a taste of what roughing is really about that he deserved.
Yeah, this kid is definately a spoilded brat! Did you read some of the comments he made? He wanted $5 from his dad if he didn't have fun camping, he commented on how the rescue dog ate HIS peanut butter crackers & how he wants to get out of his make up work from school!! Look at how much money was just spent on this kid's rescue! This child should have never been given the privledge to be a boy scout with such a spoiled & ungrateful attitude. Maybe the parents were forcing him to go on the trip to get him out of their hair for a while!!!
