News Helicopters Collide in Phoenix, Arizona killing 4

Couple of News Helicopters covering a Police Chase in Phoenix, AZ collided in mid-air and then crashing into the ground at Steele Indian Park located in Phoneix, AZ. Quoting CNN
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor told The Associated Press that the agency is reviewing air traffic control tapes to see if the helicopters' pilots were communicating before the crash.

"Typically air traffic controllers clear helicopters into an area where they can cover a chase like this," Gregor told AP. "Once they are in the area, the pilots themselves are responsible for keeping themselves separated from other aircraft."

Geodesic Polylines on Google Maps

What is Geodesic? Quoting Google Maps API Blog
A geodesic line is the shortest route between two points on the surface of the earth, and often resembles the path that airplanes take to get you to your destination in the most efficient manner.
Google Maps API has been updated so you can now create Geodesic Polyline. I decided to give it a try by adding the optional parameter {geodesic:true} as follows:
new GPolyline(points,"#ff0000", 3, 1,{geodesic:true});

Mapping Google Voice Search via 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411)

You are on the road and you need to find a Pizza Place, how do you go about doing it. Here's what I tried.

1. From my mobile I placed a free call to Google Voice Search (1-800-466-411).
2. It asked me city and state to search in. It recognized my Indian Accent "Plymouth, Michigan".
3. Next it asked me the category and I replied "Pizza".
4. Google Voice Search then started reading off from 1 thru (I think 10) names of Pizza Places in Plymouth, MI.
5. I selected #2 which was Domino's Pizza.
6. Next Google Voice Search asks whether I would like to be connected to Domino's Pizza or have Google Voice Search send me a Text Message with a map link.
7. I replied "Text Message".
8. Within a fraction of a second I get a text message on my mobile with this link: http://m.google.com/u/AuXsUc
9. When you click on it here is what you get (shown on the right). Neat!!
