Couple of criminals (Manu Sharma and Santosh Singh) related to or having connections with high ranking Government Officials, who were acquitted earlier for murdering young women, finally got what they deserved. Both Manu Sharma and Santosh Singh were convicted by the Delhi High Court. (Google Maps View of Delhi High Court)

Manu Sharma got life behind bars. He now has to get used to life from luxury cocoon to a dingy cell.

Back in October Santosh Singh got the death sentence.

Had it not been for the campaign by Indian middle class and a strong media outcry against the earlier acquitals these criminals would never have been retried.
