Yahoo Geocoding - Interesting Find

I was trying to find out geocoding info for California. So I typed the following URL
http://api.local.yahoo.com/MapsService/V1/geocode?appid=YahooDemo&state=CA

Yahoo sends back Geocoding info for CAnada
(BTW, I should have typed in http://api.local.yahoo.com/MapsService/V1/geocode?appid=YahooDemo&state=California)

so I started probing further and typed the following in:
http://api.local.yahoo.com/MapsService/V1/geocode?appid=YahooDemo&city=ottawa&state=CA
What do you see? Geocoding for Ottawa, Canada

I tried this for Mumbai,India
http://api.local.yahoo.com/MapsService/V1/geocode?appid=YahooDemo&city=mumbai&state=india

Manchester,United+Kingdom.
http://api.local.yahoo.com/MapsService/V1/geocode?appid=YahooDemo&city=manchester&state=united+kingdom

It really works. I don't see any documentation on this. So this must be a undocumented feature.
